| The Transfiguration is one of a series of paintings inspired by photos of the moon (refer to the portion of the
moon above the painting). It features the face of Jesus in the centre and Elijah on the viewers right and Moses
(with a beard) to the viewers left. On the viewers upper left there is an Alpha and Omega from a sideways perspective.
Across the painting, below the transfiguration, starting from the left, are the three mysteries of Saint Mary: The Immaculate Conception (with a symbolic baptism of a fetus by the Holy Spirit), The Annunciation (with the Angel in white appearing to Mary), and The Assumption into heaven (with Mary being woken by an angel above a bed of roses). |

Actual Painting is 24"x48" |
On the lower right there is the Glorification of Jesus from the thundering trumpet (looking like a white bottle) in heaven as He travels into Jerusalem on His donkey with a palm waiver symbolizing our glorifying gesture. |
| The lower area (from centre across to the right) of the painting is an overlap of the Last Supper / Holy Eucharist
painting and so this area is faded out so as not to interfere with the subject of this painting. Finally, in the veil of Jesus, I also placed a number of faces of disciples witnessing one of the appearences of the resurrected Christ. Since this was difficult for me to discern it will be difficult for the viewer as well. |
