The Google Search Engine offers
its own Web directory. You might say, directories on the Web are
not new or exciting. The truth is, however, that this directory
is a powerful new tool to find exactly what you seek with speed,
efficiency, and accuracy. What's even more remarkable is that
the directory uses Google's link analysis to put the top sites
(based on links to that site) first.

Using Google Directory
In order to use the
Google Directory,
to find, for example, the French newspaper Le Monde, first
choose "newspapers" from the "news" category. Then, choose
"international" from the new categories. At any time, you can
search *only* this section. A few quick steps and you have your
results, ranked by link popularity on the Web. (Note that the
search box is automatically restricted to just the category you
are looking for.) Have fun and save time.
