A critical issue to any Web specialist, copyright is as yet unresolved in the Internet world. What might fair use be, for example, as it applies to a work published online? A teacher needs to know the law, but may still wish to use recent materials with students, while respecting the author's rights. The students will then benefit: they will know more and they will begin to understand copyright and fairness as it applies to intellectual property.
