It is with a great deal of sadness that Wes Smith, CMS, passed away due to a heart attack, February 18th, 1999.  Wes would have been 84 years of age in April.

Wes was a member of RSES for 55 years, a former Officer of our Chapter, International Regional Director, Regional Deputy Director, Director of RSES Canada, Director of the Western International Association of RSES, Teacher and Friend to all of us.

There will be a reception held to remember Wes Saturday, February 27th, 1999, in the Amenities Room on the Roof of Wes & Jessie's apartment building at 728 Princess Street, New Westminster, British Columbia.  This reception will be from 1:30 to 4:00 PM.  It is suggested that you park on the Safeway parking lot and take the elevator to the Roof  to access the Amenities Room.  There will be signs posted for your convenience.

The family has asked that no flowers be sent.  Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
