| A common sculpin with a longer and more slender body than most. It also has a smaller head and mouth than most sculpins. It is nicely coloured with blueish stripes and tends to get darker in colour at night. Usually found on rock walls. |

| This animal does not usually inhabit the intertidal zone so you are very unlikely to find it beachwalking or tidepooling. |
