The Paradise

Welcome to The Pride and Prejudice Paradise! This site is devoted to the wonderful television adaptation of Pride and Prejudice - an entertaining romantic comedy set in England in the early 1800s. The screenplay, written by Andrew Davies, is based on the classic novel by Jane Austen (1775-1817), and features Jennifer Ehle as Elizabeth Bennet and Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy.

Pride and Prejudice, an BBC/A&E television movie, was produced in 1995 and first aired in North America in January 1996.
